replacement, or refund for orders placed on chutneywalas.in.
Due to the perishable / consumable nature of our products, returns are limited and are
primarily accepted for issues such as damage in transit, incorrect items, or proven quality concerns.
2. Eligibility for Return / Replacement
You may be eligible for a return or replacement in the following cases:
- You received a product that is physically damaged in transit.
- You received a product that is different from what you ordered.

You received a product with a clear quality issue
(such as leakage, spoilage at the time of delivery, or expired stock).
To qualify, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery and provide
clear photos or videos of:
- The outer packaging (showing any damage)
- The inner packaging and product label
- The product itself showing the issue
3. Non-Returnable Items
We are unable to accept returns or offer refunds in the following cases:
- Products that have been opened, partially consumed, or tampered with after delivery.
- Products returned without original packaging or labels.
- Complaints raised beyond 24 hours from the time of delivery.
- Change of mind, taste preference, or ordering by mistake.

Issues arising from incorrect address / phone number provided by you, or failure to accept
the delivery attempt.
4. How to Request a Return or Refund

- Order number
- Date of delivery
- Photos / videos showing the issue
- A short description of the problem
Our support team will review your request and respond within 2–3 working days
with the next steps, which may include a replacement, partial refund, or full refund as applicable.
5. Refund Mode & Timelines

For orders paid via online payment (UPI, card, net banking, wallet),
approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method
wherever technically possible.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds (if approved) will be processed via
bank transfer. We will request your bank details (account name, number,
IFSC, and bank name) for this purpose.

After we initiate the refund, it may take 5–7 working days for the amount
to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. Order Cancellations

You may request cancellation of your order by contacting us
before it is dispatched from our facility. Once dispatched, the order
cannot be cancelled.

If your prepaid order is cancelled before dispatch, we will process a
full refund to your original payment method.

If the courier fails to deliver the order due to reasons such as address not reachable,
repeated delivery attempts failed, or refusal to accept the parcel, we may deduct
two-way shipping charges before issuing any refund (if applicable).
7. Damaged or Leaked Parcels
If you receive a visibly damaged or leaked parcel, please:
- Take photos of the external box and inner products immediately.
- Mention the damage to the delivery agent, if possible.
- Contact us within 24 hours with your order details and photos.
Based on our assessment, we may offer a replacement or refund for the affected items.
8. Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges (if any) are usually non-refundable, except where the entire
order is cancelled by us due to non-availability or an internal issue.

In some cases of partial refund or replacement, only the value of the affected product
may be refunded.
